Thanks again for all your comments and suggestions for new cycle hangar locations. We are continuing to use your suggestions to guide our plans for new installations, and in the last few weeks alone we have installed new hangars at:-
Some of the new hangars are already showing high levels of use – for example the ones on Odessa Street are already being used by 13 cyclists. This proves the real value of being able to match the supply of new hangars to where the greatest demand is.
Please continue to use the site to tell us where you think new hangars should be located, and we will continue to listen. Access to safe cycle storage is a key part of the council’s transport and environmental commitments.
